So yesterday we overviewed my goals for this year (if you missed that post you can view it here) and today we're talking about what I'd like to achieve next year.
Again I'd like to say that I'm in a good place right now and am setting goals that are realistic for me, if my circumstances change I will adapt these and I think it's really important not to be too hard on yourself, but it's good to have direction.
Stop drinking dairy
As I said yesterday I didn't find consuming "less" helpful and so I have decided to cut out one group completely. I'm probably never going to give up chocolate cake, but I can probably give up hot chocolate that isn't made with an alternative.
Shop smaller
I'd really like to support more small businesses. I think that I've been doing well with this when it comes to gifting but I really want to move it into other areas of my spending.
Save £x
We are saving for an emergency fund and then for a deposit on a house. The figure I aim to save is about 30% of my income, so we'll see how that goes.
Take care of myself
We are shoving all your classic resolutions together here but I know going to the gym helps my mental health, I know if I don't drink enough water I feel dizzy, and I know that I freak out when my space is cluttered. I already have these things semi sorted but I really want to drive them home next year.
Please remember to be kind to yourself if you're setting goals for next year.
